Course description: The course covers following topics: Wilhelm von Humboldt (selected chapters), Leo Weisgerber (selected chapters), culture (definition), linguistics and cultural studies.

Learning outcomes: Students will be able to identify and explain intercultural linguistic contacts and cultural transfers.

Teaching methods: teaching through lectures, classroom discussion
