Experimentation

School Year 1999-2000 was the beginning of an important 4 years’ experimentation about orientated secondary schools. In reality the orientated schools don’t exist yet but after this experiment all secondary schools are supposed to be orientated in two directions: scientific and social ones. According to this new profile, every subject will be reorganized having new syllabuses a modern content, new teaching methods and a new teaching technology.

Position of History in Orientated Secondary School (Scientific and Social Directions)

In first two years of orientated secondary school (grades IX and X, both scientific and social directions) the number of classes per week is the same (2,2). Orientation of school begins in grade III. In grades III and IV number of classes per week is not the same in all schools. In social direction, grade III, number of classes per week is 3 instead of 2 in scientific direction. In grade IV (social direction) is 4 instead of 2 (scientific direction).
